Smoking at City Hall Recorder Office

June 1st I emailed this information to members of St. Louis City Democratic Central Committee.

Today is National Cancer Survivors Day. Two of the worst kept secrets at City Hall are Sharon Carpenter does not show up for work very often and when she does show up, she violates the city’s no smoking rule by smoking cigarettes in her office.

As a prostate cancer survivor, I am shocked the city allows Sharon to engage in this illegal activity harmful to everyone’s health.

Why is she allowed to smoke at City Hall? Monday I will request copies of complaints to Citizens Services Bureau regarding the Recorder of Deeds office, so these questions can be answered.

When I am Recorder of Deeds, City Hall will finally be smoke free.
